From bedazzled Louboutins, to Marchesa gowns, I have been browsing net-a-porter.com for style-inspiration since middle school. Whenever I feel down, I open their app and browse the kind of clothing that dreams are made of. After the holidays, I opened their sale section, and decided to sort from low-to-high… and was shocked to discover that I could afford something! Not only could I afford to shop the makeup section of my favorite website, but one of my top makeup brands was cheaper than Sephora!
I’m a loyal Sephora shopper, mostly because I work in malls and Sephora is notoriously convenient. But, Charlotte Tilbury is just so much cheaper on net-a-porter! Other brands are the same price, but the first picture below is my net-a-porter shopping bag, and the second is the same products from Sephora.
Shipping is fast, and free for all orders, and the net-a-porter packaging was divine!
My only caveat with ordering makeup from net-a-porter vs. Sephora is that opened makeup can’t be returned. If you’re hesitant about a shade or a product, I would recommend trying in a store. But if you know your shade or favorite product from Charlotte Tilbury, net-a-porter will save you a few bucks.
I’ve been wearing Pillow Talk 2 nonstop! It’s a versatile deep nude. I have the original Pillow Talk, but hesitated buying it for so long because it was a bit light for my usual taste… it grew on me, but this shade is ideal!
