The best time to buy from Sephora is the Beauty Insider Sale! The sale happens twice a year: April and December. I use the sale to stock up on any products that I use regularly that I will run out of between sales– I would rather get the product on sale to have on hand until I need it. It’s also a great opportunity to try new products at a discount. The Sephora Beauty Insider program is free and fast to sign up for in-store and online. Being a Beauty Insider gets you access to the 10% discount for the final five days of the sale. The other tiers are dependent on how much you spend in a year: VIB members save 15% for one week, and Rouge members save 20% for eleven days.
My Top Ten Sephora Sale Purchases

- NARS Afterglow Blush Palette
- This is the only blush I need to purchase because it has so many options. You can mix and layer shades to create different effects.
- Includes 2 highlighter, 1 bronzer, and 3 blush shades
- I’ve owned two different NARS blush palette’s and they last me a really long time because you have so many shades to choose from. Definitely worth Investing in!
- Fenty Beauty Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil and Styler
- Very fine point tip for creating natural hairlike strokes, and has a brush on the opposite end to blend
- Blends out smoothly and very long-lasting.
- Comes in 14 shades: I use Deep Black (I love a bold brow).
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder
- I can not say enough good things about this product: the finish is flawless and lasts all day on my oily skin. I will usually need to touch up around the early evening to absorb excess oil, but the product doesn’t separate from the skin as my skin gets oily throughout the day.
- I apply this with a powder puff for the most coverage. The cheap ones from Amazon work just fine.
- No flashback in photos and very long-lasting to wear for events.
- Comes in four shades: I use shade 2 Medium.
- Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation
- This is the foundation of my full-coverage dreams! Very blurring and covers imperfections and discoloration. Great for events where you need long-lasting full coverage.
- The formula helps to conceal redness, and I find I need significantly less concealer to cover my rosacea.
- It does dry down quickly, so work fast! I apply with a small foundation brush to work in smaller areas so I don’t have excess product drying down.
- Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream
- I completely understand the viral hype about this product, very impressive results with this. I just started using this recently and it put my old concealers to shame.
- Does not settle into fine lines, and very minimal setting into the wrinkles below my eyes. The full-coverage formula lasts all day.
- Very pigmented, a little product goes a long way, so one tube will last you.
- Comes in 28 colors: I use Tone 2.5 C (light with cool peach undertones). Great range of deeper shades and undertone options.
- Fenty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush
- Creme cheek products are so trendy right now for that natural dewey makeup look and this is the best one I’ve tried. It has the best even coverage and is buildable.
- Colors look really bright in the compact and apply softer than they appear, don’t be afraid of the bold shades!
- Comes in ten shades: I use Crush on Cupid (soft cool pink) and Daiquiri Dip (soft coral red).
- Tarte SEA Breezy Cream Bronzer
- Dupe for the Chanel cream bronzer (which I also have) formula-wise. The Chanel bronzer is more glowy, and the Tarte version is more matte.
- Great cream contour. Buildable formula. I apply with the Tarte SEA Breezy Blender Cream Bronzer Brush.
- Comes in two shades: Seycelles and Grace Bay. Only Seycelles is currently available at Sephrora and it’s for light to medium skin tones. I use Grace Bay (medium to deep skin tones) when I’m tan in the summer.
- Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner
- Long-lasting formula, doesn’t leave my lips feeling dry throughout the day.
- Very bendable and great for over-lining lips.
- Comes in 17 shades: my favorites are Pillow Talk (almost the same color as my natural lips, a cool toned light pink), Pillow Talk 2 Medium (a shade darker than my natural lips, I use this to contour my lips for maximum fullness), and Savage Rose (warm rosy red, I wear this underneath all of my red lipsticks).
- Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
- I have been using this as a primer under my makeup for three years now, and it was well-deserved to go viral.
- Can be worn on its own as a light-coverage foundation, or as a primer for a glowy base for makeup.
- Gives skin a natural glowy finish, and slightly cancels out redness. Feels very hydrating and breathable on the skin.
- Comes in 13 shades: I use shade 2.5 when I’m pale in the winter and 5 when I’m tan in the summer. I can blend the two together to create different shades throughout the year to match my skin tone.
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil
- I have tried so many pencil eyeliners over the years and keep going back to this one!
- The formula is super creamy, pigmented, blendable, and the pencil does not dry out over time. I’ve had some of mine for years and they still work as good as a fresh pencil.
- They are waterproof. I’ve been using this eyeliner since college, I’ve cried a lot in these liners over the years.
- Come in 34 shades: my favorites are Perversion (matte blackest black), Uzi (dark gunmetal shimmer with silver micro-sparkle), and Whiskey (rich brown matte). So many matte, shimmer, and glitter options to choose from.
Linking the brushes I mentioned to apply these products; along with my favorite concealer brush to blend the Kosas concealer, and the foundation brush I use for the Flawless Filter.
Happy Shopping!
xoxo,
Kaitlyn
